Welcome Me and Dave

Here comes the totally ridiculous bit where I give you far more information than anyone actually asked for.

I started life in 1983 in a maternity hospital in Athens, Greece. From there, with my parents and three older siblings, I moved to Essex, UK where I spent the next 18 years of my life.

Just before I turned 19 years old, I started my degree course in Physics at Warwick University. I spent three happy years there and made some friends who I'm sure will be with me for life. Whilst studying, I also met Dave; the man who four years later was to become my husband.

On 14th July 2005 we both graduated from Warwick with honours degrees in Physics. On August 19th, our first anniversary as a couple, we moved in to our first home together in Rugby. The next day, after getting rid of my celebratory hangover, we packed up my old room and what little furniture I had, and moved it all in. We've been living here for nearly four years now.

Then, on August 10th 2007, after a long day (4 hours) at work, I returned home to candles, flowers and champagne. That was swiftly followed by a beautiful diamond engagement ring and a new fiancé!

Moving on to 24th August 2008, I walked down the aisle in The Great Hall at Dunchurch Park Hotel towards David James Hersey, my husband. After a long week of celebrating, we flew out to Kuredu Island Resort in the Maldives where we spent two blissful weeks before being returned to reality.

In the 8 months passed, we've been decorating our house, made a few big purchases, been on holiday, and watched more of our friends following our example by settling down. In the future there will hopefully be children, pets, and a lot more fun to come.
